RelevX has been recognised as the startup most voted by the audience in the Pitch Battle at the StartupMat Tech Summit 2026, one of the leading innovation, entrepreneurship and technology gatherings in Spain. Recognition that comes from those who matter most: the people who saw our project live and decided to back it.
Competing in the Pitch Battle at an event of this calibre was a challenge in itself. Getting on stage, presenting in a few minutes what we do and why it matters, and doing it before an auditorium full of professionals, investors and other startups, is a trial by fire for any young company. Going from stage fright at the microphone to the overwhelming backing of a full room is a leap you only understand once you live it.
The most important award
We did not take first place with the jury, but we took home the award that means most to us: the Audience Award for the best startup in the Maresme. And it has a special meaning. The jury weighs technical and business criteria; the audience votes on something harder to earn: connection. When hundreds of people hear your pitch and decide yours convinced them most, it means the message lands, the problem we solve is real and the way we tell it works.
For a company like RelevX, whose work is making AI automation accessible and understandable for any company, that popular vote is the best possible validation. It confirms we are communicating well something often perceived as complex or out of reach.

A first-rate event
The standard on stage throughout the day was outstanding. Solid projects, polished presentations and teams with enormous ambition. From RelevX we want to congratulate the StartupMat organisers for putting on an event of this calibre, capable of bringing startups, established companies, investors and technology professionals into one space. Our recognition also goes to the other participants and speakers: the bar was set very high and that makes the award feel even more valuable.
The stand: conversations worth their weight in gold
Beyond the stage, much of the value of an event like this lies in what happens between sessions. Our stand became a meeting point throughout the day. It was a great opportunity to meet in person professionals we had only spoken to online, explain face to face how we apply artificial intelligence and what kind of infrastructure we build, and discover synergies with other companies and projects.
Those face-to-face conversations, about real business problems and how automation can solve them, are what truly build lasting relationships. We came back with a notebook full of contacts and, above all, with a very clear sense that what we do generates genuine interest.

What we take away
We return to the office with three things: a stand full of contacts, a trophy validating that what we do connects with people, and enormous motivation to keep automating the future of companies. Awards are not a finishing line but a sign we are on the right track. And this one, voted by the audience, confirms that the AI automation we build solves problems people care about.
Thanks to everyone who filled the auditorium with your votes and energy, to those who came by the stand to meet us, and to the whole community that supported us from afar. This is only the beginning.
